Dr. Franklin Carvajal specializes in evaluating you from a psychological perspective before undergoing bariatric surgery. This is called a pre-surgical bariatric psychological evaluation.
Dr. Carvajal is one of the few psychologists in the United States to hold two doctorates in psychology from prestigious academic institutions (University of Massachusetts at Amherst and Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University). He considers himself a practitioner, academic and researcher. Dr. Carvajal is fluent in Spanish and has a good understanding of the Latin culture and market.
